Presenting the items, the Ashanti Regional Minister, expressed the hope that such staff durbars would be institutionalized and be held twice a year. Thanking all the staff for their hard work over the years, he indicated that he as a Regional Minister has had to take certain tough decisions in order to turn the fortunes of the council to make it financially independent and expressed the hope that the council would proceed on that tangent.
