The Ashanti Regional Minister on March 9, 2022, inspected some ongoing projects within the Region. Some projects inspected were the Konongo Government Hospital and its access road which involves bituminous surfacing of 4.8km being undertaking by Agyakot Co. Ltd. The Regional Minister also visited Rider steel factory, a newly constructed steel factory at Odumase three lane where he acquainted himself with activities of the company.

At Juabeng Municipality, Hon. Simon Osei-Mensah inspected the XIN AN safe cement factory Juabeng.

The Minister also inspected the Dompoase terminal as well as the Ahinsan Brewery to Dompase road which forms part of the Kumasi Drainage and Roads Extension Project. The project according to the Minister is over 85% complete since most of the 6 components of the project involving the lorry terminal, vehicular and pedestrian bridge as well as the storm drain are completed. “The main bridge is expected to be completed in some few weeks”, he added.
