Department of Community Development Collaborates with Essienimpong Community Leaders to Discuss Children’s Rights and Protection Against Abuse

Essienimpong, Ejisu – In an effort to promote awareness and prioritize the well-being of children, the Department of Community Development, in collaboration with community leaders, organized a community engagement event in Essienimpong on the 27th of May 2022. The event brought together community members, including students, to discuss important issues related to protecting children against all forms of abuse and ensuring their rights to development.

The event aimed to foster dialogue and collective action in safeguarding the rights and welfare of children within the community. It provided a platform for participants to address concerns, share experiences, and propose strategies to create a safe and nurturing environment for children.
