Finance Minister designate, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam on Tuesday, 20th February 2024 paid a courtesy call to the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon Simon Osei-Mensah at the Ashanti Regional Co-ordinating Council.
He was joined by the Deputy Finance Minister, Dr. John Kumah and the Chief Director of the Ministry.

Dr. Adam noted that the Ashanti Region plays important role in Ghana’s economic development and this is underpinned by the numerous vital projects such as the Kumasi International Airport, Kejetia Redevelopment Market, and the Mother and Baby Unit at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
He noted that the Ministry will do it’s best under his leadership to continue with the development in the Ashanti Region.
