The mandate of the Local Government Service (LGS) is to ensure effective administration and management of the Local Government in the country. In line with this objective, the LGS developed a comprehensive Performance Management System (PMS) that is based on Service Delivery Standards (SDS) and anchored on systematic processes of planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on performance of LGS employees.
As part of the process towards the signing of the 2022 Performance Contract, some aspects of the Performance Contract indicators have been revised.
In view of the above, the draft 2022 Performance Contract for RCCs and MMDAs is attached for an initial review and comments.
All comments from the RCCs and MMDAs Performance Contracts should be collated and submitted to the OHLGS by 28th January, 2022.
